High-Rise 99 is both a relic of the past and a glimpse of the future — a timeless structure in constant evolution. It stands as a symbol of humanity’s outstretched hand towards the unfamiliar and the new. 99 marks the boundary of the sky’s horizon — this is represented by 99 paintings, each corresponding to a specific floor from 1 to 99, following the UK floor numbering system (with the ground floor as floor 0 and the first floor above it as floor 1). High-Rise 99 allows collectors to lease paintings from the series by applying on the website. Collectors may only apply if they have a strong connection to the indicated floor (either by living or working on it). Once every two years, a jury is invited to select new collectors for the available paintings.
